EWH3# 752: The Hash of Theseus 6:45 PM Thursday February 7, 2013- Francis Scott Key Park in Georgetown, either Foggy Bottom or Rosslyn (Both Blue/Orange Line)

Wankers,

Last week we were treated to a few members of the Old Guard showing us just what it meant to hash through downtown DC- we then promptly forgot said lesson due to copious amounts of flip-cup at the Exchange.  Let’s see what this week’s hares have in store..

Your regularly scheduled program this week is:

EWH3# 752: The Hash of Theseus 6:45 PM Thursday February 7, 2013- Francis Scott Key Park in Georgetown, either Foggy Bottom  or Rosslyn (Both Blue/Orange Line)

NOTE: There is a 15 min or so walk from the metro, so allow extra time in your plans!

It’s an ancient hashing philosophical question: If a group of hares sign up for a hash, and one hare drops and is replaced, is it still the same hash? Most wankers would say yes. What if another drops out? Is it still the same hash? What if all the original hares are gone, but they dropped one by one? Then is it still the original hash? The answer is no – because the theme was gonna be Where’s Waldo but those costumes are expensive as fuck. So your new hares are giving you a hash-themed hash, cause we’re the replacements and kinda got roped into this, and we’re still hungover from the Superbowl.

When: 6:45 PM Thursday February 7, 2013.  Pack away at 7:15ish.
Where: Francis Scott Key Park in Georgetown, either Foggy Bottom  or Rosslyn (Both Blue/Orange Line), with a 15 min walk to Key Bridge!
Hares: 1 if By Man, 2 if by She, Twinkle Twinkle Little Cock, Choke and Gag Her, Just Josiah
Miscellaneous Crap: Trail is A to A, and dog friendly. No need for shiggy socks, but trail might go into neighboring states…

On On On: Chadwick’s
3205 K Street NW
Washington, DC 20007
Specials: TBA

P.S.

If your drunken half-mind isn’t yet reeling from our exercise in hash-philosophy, chew on this: what if all the original hares that were replaced one by one get together and do a different trail at a later date? THEN which is the real trail? Compost Pile and Eats Street Meat are going to ponder that for like, HOURS man. Whoa.
