Hey Everyone!

I hope you’ve all enjoyed a restful, healthy, quiet three-day weekend.  I feel like something else went on this weekend, but am not sure.  Good news is, you’ll all be plenty rested to get at it this week at EWH3!

Your regularly scheduled program this week is:

EWH3# 853: The Trail of (Not So) Biblical Proportions! – 6:45 PM Thursday, October 16th, Union Station (Red Line)

Have the Red Dress festivities left you longing for a little religion? Whether you were shouting “Oh God!”s to your partner or whispering them to your toilet, we’ve got the cure for all the weekend sins you remember, those you don’t, and those you pretend not to! Pray hard, folks; God may unleash a flood of beer (it happened to London 200 years ago, to the day!)

– the Maryland Renaissance Festival recreates a 16th century English village with crafts, food, live performances on 8 stages, a jousting arena and lots of games.

– See a fire-eater, sword swallower, jousting in full armor, marvel at jugglers and magicians, and listen to music and choral groups. Enjoy a variety of fare from 42 food shops, more than 130 craft shops for stained glass, sculptures, jewelry, pottery, wood-butchery, leather-work, inlay, clothing, and glass-blown creations.

– Turkey leg….. 5 bucks for 1. Definitely worth it. A HUGE turkey leg full of delicious and salty meat. Succulent and sometimes stringy. It can be used for different reasons. Eat it. Carry it around for protection. Use it to block the sun from the UV radiation.

– Bring cash as the lines for ATMs can be long
