EWH3 #1440: Boozy Horror Halloween Trail, October 31, 2024, Francis Scott Key Memorial – Foggy Bottom-ish or Rosslyn-ish (Blue/Orange/Silver)

‘Tis the most wonderful night of the year!  What better way to spend All Hallow’s Eve, but with your costumed wanker friends in the spookiest part of the District!  Come get scared in the woods, surprised by hooligans with shots (o’ booze), and don’t forget to be costumed so the goblins don’t get you!!

When: 6:45 PM Thursday, October 31, 2024. Pack will be away right at 7:15 PM, don’t be late!

Where: Francis Scott Key Memorial (https://maps.app.goo.gl/WbWMnjarFGgyoip79) The closest metro from the DC side is Foggy Bottom and then it’s a 1 mile walk, or you can take the circulator, or the 33/38B bus! The closest metro from the Virginia side is Rosslyn, and once again take the 38B bus!

– Runners: 1.8 mi. first half / 1.8 mi. second half

– Walkers: 1 mi first half / 1.2 mi. second half

– Shiggy: 2.69 (runners first half)


Miscellaneous Crap: Trail is A to A (see above re the Metros and bus). Bring your own vessel, a CRANIUM LIGHT, dry shoes, bug spray, and a full water bottle. Sign up on Hash Rego is required if paying by card! Be smart, have fun.  Once again, CRANIUM LAMP FOR RUNNERS.  It’s dark AF in ye ol’ haunted woods.
