Ten years ago, someone invited Just Ben, who had just graduated from the space cadet academy, to a space-themed running event. He had questions. Mostly, “what kinds of weirdos run for fun?”
Then, in Opening Circle, he took his flight suit off to reveal nipple tassels and spandex shorts. The reaction from the crowd told him “ah yes, these are indeed my people.”

– Runners: 1.7 mi. first half / 1.9 mi. second half
– Walkers: 0.6 mi first half / 0.9 mi. second half
– Shiggy: 2.69 (hills, rocks, roots)
Miscellaneous Crap: Trail is A to A’ (0.5 mi to East Falls Church Metro). Bring your own vessel, a cranium light, dry shoes, bug spray, and a full water bottle. Sign up on Hash Rego is required if paying by card! Be smart, have fun.
